Board our version of the Jolly Roger and keep a close eye out for treasure and mermaids! Land-ho! Let’s navigate our way through the museum with our best peg-legs and fancy tails to find the hidden treasure! Ariel Meet ‘n Greets at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm. Pirate Meet ‘n Greets at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm. Coastal Cotton Candy and Pirate Popcorn served to visitors in Atrium. Special Storytime readings by Ms. Jan at 11:00am & 1:00pm. 11am How to Catch a Mermaid, Adam Wallace. This enchanting mermaid tale gives guidelines for an under-the-sea adventure that requires imagination, creativity, and cleverness in order to create just the right “trap.” Don’t worry: No mermaids are harmed in the telling of this fun story!
1pm The Grumpy Pirate, Corinne Demas & Artemis Roehrig. Grumpy Gus complains about everything! The other pirates have had it and ask the Pirate Queen to help with Gus’s bad attitude. This fun swashbuckling tale helps children learn the importance of keeping a positive attitude.
