Monday, November 22nd Turkey Bingo
Thanksgiving is such a fun holiday wrapped in so much tradition and such warm and cozy feelings. Children and families can delight in Turkey Bingo, played just like traditional Bingo, while spending a little time with family and discovering matching and good listening skills. Once a player has five in a row (going any direction-vertical, horizontal or diagonal), then call out BINGO to win.

Tuesday, November 23rd Princess Day
Delight in being a princess for a day and join us in the celebration of National Princess Day. All adults and children are encouraged to wear their finest royal clothes! Just like those princesses in the movies and books that we love so much, today is a day about celebrating little boys and girls who learn to listen, be kind, prudent, forgiving, and how to influence people in a positive way. Join us for a chance to meet Princesses Elsa and Princess Anna. Train to be a knight and take part in our Royal Art Projects!

Tuesday, November 23rd Celebrate November Boogie Bash
Join Ms. Jan in challenging young children to build large motor and social skills, follow directions, and more with November theme games, songs and movement.

Wednesday, November 24th Turkey Scavenger Hunt and Turkey Bingo
Adding a little bit more fun into our Thanksgiving week fun, young visitors and their siblings or accompanied adults can search for items from given clues leading to a location to receive other clues to another location until the end of the hunt. Children and families can delight in Turkey Bingo, played just like traditional Bingo while spending a little time with family and discovering matching and good listening skills. Once a player has five in a row (going any direction-vertical, horizontal or diagonal), then call out BINGO to win. Delight in proven interactive games to stir up more excitement for Turkey Day.

Friday, November 26th Chikawa Aztec Dancers
In recognition of Native American Indian Heritage Month, the museum will be honoring and celebrating with a special performance by the Chikawa Aztec Dancers (meaning “strong” in the Nahuatl language), a local cultural group representing the Aztec culture through modern Aztec dance and traditions.
Storybook Theatre with Ms. Jan (Friday)
Join Ms. Jan for a delightful Thanksgiving interactive storytime reading A Native American Trickster Tale- Coyote by Gerald McDermott. When Coyote, the Trickster, wants to sing, dance and fly like the crows, he gets into trouble.

Saturday, November 27th Alphie the Elf
Children’s imaginations burst with wonder interacting with Alphie the Elf, a very popular guest that comes to life by Margaret Clauder, a costumed variety performing artist and internationally known award-winning storyteller/puppeteer/ventriloquist who has traveled the US and abroad performing for audiences of all ages.
