Storybook Theatre-Chooch Helped
Storybook Theatre, Friday, Nov. 20 at 11am presents “Chooch Helped” by Andrea L. Rogers. This story, the 2025 Caldecott Medal Winner, is the perfect book to honor Native American Alaska Native Heritage Month. It introduces us to a Cherokee family immersed in their cultural traditions while two-year-old Chooch insists on “helping” with everything. Chooch’s older sibling, Sissy, eventually learns to show grace and understanding as her little brother is learning how to do things with his family.
