Storybook Theatre at 11am Friday, April 28th presents Children’s day/book day.

April 28: CHILDREN’S DAY/BOOK DAY

1) Book Fiesta!: Celebrate Children’s Day/Book Day (Celebremos El día de los niños/El día de los libros), Pat Mora.
Ms. Jan and Miss Maria will be reading this joyful book together in English and Spanish to celebrate Children’s Day/Book Day (El día de los niῆos/El día de los libros). The story encourages children to explore the world of books wherever they are! This special day highlights the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

2) The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Eric Carle. Miss Jan and special guest, Rana Younes, will be reading this classic story in English and Arabic. This beloved book follows the little caterpillar with a voracious appetite throughout his life cycle, culminating in his transformation into a beautiful butterfly.

Introduce your child to the wonder of reading and instill a love of books at an early age. Storybook Theatre combines your favorite childhood books with songs, rhymes and fingerplays which are meant to promote early literacy and enhance language development.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00am-2:00pm
Friday 10:00am-4:00pm
Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm
Daily Admission is $8 per person 1 years and older, children under 1. Museum Members are free.
Recommended ages 7 years and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  Click for tickets.
