Miss Jan will share a child-friendly “spooky” story and fun Halloween musical activities 3 Special Storytimes.
At 11:15am enjoy “The Spooky Wheels on the Bus” by J. Elizabeth Mills. This is a silly Halloween version of the classic song with delightful tricks and treats along the bus route!
At 12:15pm giggle out loud to “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Ghost!” by Lucille Colandro. In this Halloween version of the classic “There Was an Old Lady” series, we revisit the hungry old lady for more of her adventures that are just perfect for the season!
Then at 1:15pm enjoy “Go Away, Big Green Monster!” by Ed Emberley. This classic story invites children to conquer their fears and handle their emotions through fun interaction and imagination by creating a “monster” and then making him disappear! This is the perfect book to share any time of the year but especially around Halloween.
This event is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, Texas Commission on the Arts and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
Thanks to Victory Smiles for donating dental floss for use in this year’s marshmallow bobbing game during SpookTacular.
