Shadow Puppet Theatre, Thursday, Oct. 8, at 11am, presents “Douglas, You Need Glasses!” by Ged Adamson. We are celebrating World Sight Day with an endearing story about Douglas, a dog who doesn’t realize he needs glasses. His poor eyesight puts him in some sticky situations, such as chasing a leaf that he thinks is a squirrel! After an eye exam and finding the perfect pair of glasses, Douglas discovers all the wonderful things he’s been missing around him. Shadow Puppet Theatre is an introduction to storytelling elements that allow our readers and audience to interact directly with each other. Children of all ages are enchanted with the animated shadows.
