Shadow Puppet Theatre Thursday, October 1st at 11 presents “A Big Mooncake 🌝🌟 for Little Star” by Grace Lin. The phases of the moon are illustrated through Little Star’s inability to resist nibbling, little by little, on the yummy mooncake that she and her mother have baked.  This delightful story pays tribute to the Mid-Autumn Festival (also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival) celebrated in many East Asian countries.  This year it falls on October 1^st.
