Saturday, May 6, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Kathy Duval, author of A Bear’s Year, will do a reading and power point presentation at 10:30 followed by a “meet and greet” and book signing till 12:00. 
Author Kathy Duval has lived most of her life in Texas. Her latest book, A BEAR’S YEAR (Schwartz & Wade @ Random House) celebrates the passing of seasons, following a mother bear and her cubs through the course of a year. Kathy was inspired to write this book after visiting Alaska and seeing bears in the wild.
Kathy is also the author of THE THREE BEARS’ HALLOWEEN and THE THREE BEARS’ CHRISTMAS (Holiday House), and TAKE ME TO YOUR BBQ (Disney Hyperion). Her poetry can be found in in children’s magazines and anthologies.
