Author visit with Nancy Devereaux

Storybook Theatre at 11am Friday, June 2nd presents “Author Visit with Nancy Devereaux, who will read “Ms. Nancy’s Dance Class,’. This book gives us a step-by-step look at the world of beginners’ ballet and tap. Author/dance instructor Nancy Devereaux (a.k.a. Ms. Nancy) will be our special guest today. She will read Ms. Nancy’s Dance Class on stage; and as she gets to the dance moves in the story, the children will be invited to stand and perform the various moves. The reading will be immediately followed by a meet-and-greet, where Ms. Nancy will sell and sign her book until 12:15pm. Book format: paperback. Cost of book: $15.99 including tax. Nancy has over 20 years of experience in dance and is recognized for creating an exciting non-competitive environment for all ages. She’s worked with Ballet Austin, Met Dance-Houston, and Greer Goff-New Orleans. Nancy has years of experience in teaching preschool beginner dance training in the private school arena. During COVID she served children worldwide via Zoom. In December 2021 her new Katy-Fulshear dance studio in Cross Creek opened, providing classes and events for ages 18 months to adult. Nancy’s passion for dance continues to grow as she inspires all ages to love the art of dance. She also has seventeen plus years of corporate experience as an account executive, building educational partnerships with top local and national brand companies. Nancy has two children and three awesome grandsons.
