Children’s Book Week
Tues. May 1st – Fri. May 4th. Young readers will be inspired by meeting guest authors – and hearing them read their books. Experience imaginary journeys to other times and places! Events included in the price of admission, which is $6 for adults and children 1 year and older.

May 1st 10am-Noon, the Montgomery County Memorial Library System will be here signing children ages 5 and older up for their own library card.

May 2nd 11am, Visiting author Amy Lee Creel will read her book, “The Giant Fish & Jonah: A Bible Story from a Unique Perspective”, meet and greet until 12:30pm.

May 2nd 11:15am-1pm children will have an opportunity to read to therapy dogs from Montgomery Pet Partners.

May 3rd 10:30am, 11:30am and 12:30pm Curious George will visit and take photos with children.
11 am. Shadow Puppet Theatre will present “Where the Wild Things Are”.

May 4th 11 a.m Storybook Theatre will feature visiting author Valerie Sweeten, who will read her book, “Shh, Listen: On a Safari”, meet and greet until 12:30pm.

Barnes & Noble The Woodlands will donate a percentage of their sales to the museum when customers mention the museum during check out or online Sun. April 29 – Sun. May 6.
