Grandparents are invited to spend a day of play, learning and adventure at The Woodlands Children’s Museum. The museum will celebrate National Grandparents Day from Noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11. Up to two grandparents per family will be admitted free of charge.

All Hallows Eve Children explore a Celtic cultural influence on Halloween festivities creating assorted art projects reflecting various art mediums. Just $12 for a 2 hour workshop for ages 5 to 8. Advanced registration required.

The Museum will recognize Fire Prevention Week with a special visit by firemen and the fire truck from the Woodlands Fire Department, art projects and Fire Safety Skills for young children in a fun “Boogie Bash” class. World Sight Day is a Tom’s Shoes awareness initiative as a day set-aside to recognize visual impairment and blindness as a critical global issue. Free with admission.
