The Woodlands Children's Museum

Grandparents are invited to spend a day of play, learning and adventure at The Woodlands Children’s Museum. The museum will celebrate National Grandparents Day from Noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11. Up to two grandparents per family will be admitted free of charge.

12 for 2 Second Saturday Workshop

All Hallows Eve Children explore a Celtic cultural influence on Halloween festivities creating assorted art projects reflecting various art mediums. Just $12 for a 2 hour workshop for ages 5 to 8. Advanced registration required.

National Fire Prevention Week

The Museum will recognize Fire Prevention Week with a special visit by firemen and the fire truck from the Woodlands Fire Department, art projects and Fire Safety Skills for young children in a fun “Boogie Bash” class. Fire truck visit: 10:30am-12:30pm 2nd Week of October Nationally Free with admission.

World Sight Day

World Sight Day is a Tom’s Shoes awareness initiative as a day set-aside to recognize visual impairment and blindness as a critical global issue. Free with admission.

Diwali

Diwali is the Hindu five-day festival of lights that welcomes in the lunar new year. We will be celebrating on October 28th, actual festival begins on October 30th. Art projects in the MUSE all day long Bollywood dancing with Tripti at 10:45am Free with admission.
