The Museum will recognize Fire Prevention Week with a special visit by firemen and the fire truck from the Woodlands Fire Department, art projects and Fire Safety Skills for young children in a fun “Boogie Bash” class. Fire truck visit: 10:30am-12:30pm 2nd Week of October Nationally Free with admission.
World Sight Day is a Tom’s Shoes awareness initiative as a day set-aside to recognize visual impairment and blindness as a critical global issue. Free with admission.

Crazy Art with Found Objects Be amazed at the crazy sculptures that can result from combining recyclable objects and found everyday objects. Add lots of color and the sculpture is “craaazzzyyy!!!” Just $12 for a 2 hour workshop for ages 5 to 8. Advanced registration required.
The Museum will recognize Native American Indian Heritage Month with a special performance from Chikawa Aztec Dance. This is a cultural group representing the Aztec culture through modern Aztec dance and traditions. Performances at 10:45AM & 11:30AM Free with paid admission.
