Parents will have a new opportunity this holiday season to find unique gifts for the children on their shopping list. On Friday, November 15, 2019 from 5pm – 9pm, parents, grandparents, and all curious and anxious shoppers will have the opportunity to visit The Woodlands Children’s Museum for a special one-night-only shopping event. A wide variety of vendors will be at the museum to share gift ideas and sell items that complement the museum’s mission to educate, empower, and excite children and families.
“We are really very excited to present this new ‘shop-portunity’ for everyone interested in sharing an evening dedicated just to special shopping for children. We receive a lot of positive feedback on our gift shop at the museum and the carefully selected items that we sell, so this is a way for us to expand upon those options and give families a special, one-stop shopping experience for learning toys,” stated Angela Colton, Executive Director.
The event will feature educational products that encourage imaginative play, critical thinking, motor skills, artistic expression, and more. Vendors will have a variety of books, games, puzzles, sensory toys, stuffed animals, children’s clothing and other items that are not found in traditional stores. Items offered during All Wrapped Up will be focused exclusively on children’s needs and interests. Gift wrapping and refreshments will also be available. The museum’s exhibits will be closed to allow parents and caregivers a full shopping experience.
“This will be a magical way for parents to spend an evening out, and find some creative gift ideas,” stated Colton. “Our visitors understand the importance of play and look to us to offer an educational experience. All Wrapped Up will offer the opportunity to bring home museum-quality gifts.”
