Storybook Theatre, Friday, Nov. 6 at 11am presents “It’s Diwali!” by Richard Sebra. Ms. Jan will read excerpts from this book about India’s most important holiday, Diwali, also known as the festival of lights. We’ll learn how people celebrate this special day. And “The Diwali Gift” by Shweta Chopra & Shuchi Mehta. This delightful story about three curious monkeys highlights Indian culture and the traditions and celebrations that are part of Diwali.
