Bats, Bugs and Big Fun: Visit The Woodlands Children’s Museum After Dark!
Fangtastic Fun Friday – Friday, October 16 | 5–8 p.m.
Get ready for a fangtastic night of fun as The Woodlands Children’s Museum comes alive after dark! Join us for a special evening celebrating the fascinating world of nocturnal animals. Explore our Bat Cave, discover how bats use echolocation, compare your wingspan to an owl’s, and set off on a Midnight Camouflage Hunt to find nocturnal animals hiding throughout the museum.
Little explorers can also enjoy Twilight Tales story time, create a torn-paper owl collage, make a not-so-spooky bat hat, explore animal X-rays on the light table, identify snakes, and discover glowing surprises during sensory play. Families may even get an up-close look at some fascinating critters during a special animal visit!
There will be plenty to see, make, discover and explore, inspired by the amazing animals that come out after the sun goes down!
