Special Author Visit with Katie Schon

Special Author Visit with Katie Schon on Thursday, May 8th, from 11:00am to 12:15pm. As part of the museum’s Children’s Book Week celebration, Katie Wray Schon will be our special guest author on Thursday, May 8, at 11:00am.  She will be reading Painting Wonder:  How Pauline Baynes Illustrated the Worlds of C. S. Lewis & J. R. R. Tolkien on stage at 11:00am followed by a meet-and-greet, where she will sell and sign her books until 12:15.  Katie Wray Schon is an author and illustrator who loves making beautiful books.  She grew up in Rhode Island but now lives in Texas, where she can usually be found with a paintbrush in hand. She has a wonderful family; and together they love art, books, the outdoors, and road trips.
