Storybook Theatre at 11am Friday, March 3rd presents Seuss’s birthday celebration. Join us at 11:00am for a reading of “What Pet Should I Get?” by Dr. Seuss. This Dr. Seuss treasure follows a brother and sister into a pet store as they try to make up their minds as to what pet to choose. It teaches the lesson that it’s hard to make decisions, but sometimes you just have to! Then at 12:30pm enjoy “My Many Colored Days” and “Great Day for Up” by Dr. Seuss. My Many Colored Days with its vibrant illustrations explores moods and feelings through colors. Great Day for Up tells us the meanings of “up” while celebrating the joy of life. Introduce your child to the wonder of reading and instill a love of books at an early age. Storybook Theatre combines your favorite childhood books with songs, rhymes and fingerplays which are meant to promote early literacy and enhance language development.
Daily Admission is $8 per person 1 years and older, children under 1 and Museum Members are free. Recommended ages 7 years and under.
