Fall into STEAM with our September POP-UP SCIENCE activities!
Are you looking for fun, hands-on weekday activities for your children? Drop by our Pop-Up Science station every Thursday from 10am – 12pm for exciting, interactive learning:
Sept. 3 – Chlorophyll Paintings: Tap into nature! Younger kids will love the sensory fun of squishing green leaves, while older kids learn how plants make their own food. Nature concoctions even make fun natural paints!
Sept. 10 – Magnet Fall Hunt: Perfect for little hands! Toddlers and bigger kids alike will use magic magnet wands to hunt for hidden magnetic treasures in a basket of autumn leaves.
Sept. 17 – Gabby’s Dollhouse Egg Carton Garden: Celebrate with a special Gabby’s Dollhouse photo experience at the museum during Sept. 11-19! Plus, children can transform biodegradeable egg cartons into mini gardens to take home.
Sept. 24 – Apple Tree Engineering: A fun balancing game! Using recycled tubes, sticks, and pom-poms, kids will design and build a tree, then test their engineering skills by balancing “apples” on top.
