Her personal interest in genealogy and her professional art background melded together beautifully when she was inspired to write and illustrate All the Mamas and All the Papas. Ms. Shough grew up in Ohio\, graduating from Ohio State University. She received her MA from The University of Texas at Austin. There she worked at The Archer M. Huntington Art Gallery in art education. She later worked for the Texas House of Representatives and taught history\, art\, and photography with the Department of Defense in Catania\, Sicily. After moving to The Woodlands\, she taught at Lone Star College as adjunct professor of Art History and Art Appreciation. Now retired\, she loves being with friends and family\, especially her five grandchildren. Part of the year is spent on Maui.
