DESCRIPTION:On April 24 at 11am we will be celebrating Children’s Day/Book Day (Celebremos El día de los niños/El día de los libros)\, with two special books. First\, enjoy  “Book Fiesta!: Celebrate Children’s Day/Book Day (Celebremos El día de los niños/El día de los libros)”\, by Pat Mora. Miss Jan and Miss Maria will be reading this joyful book together in English and Spanish to celebrate Children’s Day/Book Day (El día de los niῆos/El día de los libros). The story encourages children to explore the world of books wherever they are!  This special day (which falls on April 30) highlights the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Then enjoy “Goodnight\, Moon/Bonsoir Lune’ by Margaret Wise Brown.
