DESCRIPTION:Storybook Theatre at 11am Friday\, August 9th presents “Rapunzel” adapted by Stephanie Stansbie. This updated version of a classic fairy tale features a very clever Rapunzel\, who’s been locked in a tower by an old witch ever since she was a baby.  Thanks to a visit from a young prince\, she gets an idea on how to finally escape!  After today’s story\, Darryl Bayer\, Director for The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra\, and some of his musical friends will play samplings from musical pieces featured in the upcoming performance of “Once Upon a Symphony” at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on September 18.  Selections include music from Rapunzel/Tangled!
