The Woodlands Children’s Museum invites children and their parents to join it in its effort to help raise awareness of a critical global issue – visual impairment and blindness.
The museum will partner with TOMS Eyewear to offer a variety of fun activities and art projects geared around sight on Oct. 13, TOMS World Sight Day.

Free eye exams for children will be provided by Child & Family Eye Care in The Woodlands. The fun goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13 at the museum, located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280 in The Woodlands, 77381.
toms-worldsightday2016“World Sight Day is a time to recognize a critical global issue – all of the people in the world who are blind or who need glasses but don’t have access to eye care,” Angela Colton, executive director of The Woodlands Children’s Museum, said. “We are really hoping to raise awareness in our community. The more people know, the more we can work toward solving this crisis.”

The cost to attend is included in museum admission, which is $6 for adults and children ages 1 and older. In addition to fun activities that promote the importance of vision, The Woodlands office of Child & Family Eye Care will provide free eye exams for children on Oct. 13, World Sight Day at The Woodlands Children’s Museum.
