Spring BreaKation 4 year-olds

Discovery Workshops  4 year-olds
Monday thru Thursday 3/13-3/16  9:00am-Noon

Especially designed for 4 year-olds (or young 5’s), children explore new topics each day presenting hands-on activities to excite and develop a young child’s imagination through dramatic play, squishing, sorting, mixing, swirling, collecting or building. Class meets Monday through Thursday only.

Monday: Hats Off to Dr. Seuss
Celebrate the wacky and magical imagination of Dr. Seuss, whose literary influence has captivated the attention of young children to discover rhyming concepts, alliteration, vocabulary, counting and color. Children will enjoy the company of delightful characters through various popular books, while building vocabulary and discovering some simple life lessons through art curriculum and hands-on activities. Oh, the places they’ll go…………..

Tuesday: To Infinity and Beyond
Become the amateur astronomer while pretending to travel to the depths of the universe discovering exciting facts about our solar system and creating your own space jet pack and other creations.

Wednesday: Crazy About Critters
Filled with stories, crafts and special guest presenters sharing their furry, feathered and scaly animal friends, this class builds self-confidence and fulfills the natural curious nature of children, while discovering some of nature’s “craziest critters!”

Thursday: A Box of Ideas
The creative ideas are endless….if you give a child a box. Our curriculum embraces the creative process using simple cardboard boxes to create individual vehicles for imaginative travel and play.

Spring BreaKation 5/6 and 7/8 year-olds
March 13th – 17th
Creative Workshops
Intended for children 5-8 years-old, these workshops are designed as an artistic exploration to provide triggers for creativity using various creative disciplines, to introduce and immerse in cultural discoveries and to experience basic construction and scientific reinforcement while creating opportunities in a safe and nurturing environment for positive social interactions. Classes meets Monday through Friday.
ARTrageous Workshop
Creating a new project every day using various mediums, such as watercolor, acrylic painting, printmaking, clay and mixed media collage, the young artist with a serious love for art will journey through an introduction of various artists in a high-energy, interactive hands-on metropolis of art and culture to create “artful” experiences.
Got Science?????
Our diverse curriculum explores some physical and chemical properties of different elements, compounds and mixtures, as well as venturing into topics like force and motion constructing rockets, hands on critter investigations and observations and more. Different areas of science from natural science to social sciences are explored. Brace yourself as we inspire exploration and discovery!!!
LEGO® Frenzy Meets Righteous Robotiks
Using creative thinking and problem solving abilities, children design and build models with LEGO® pieces and kits to satisfy a specific purpose while exploring basic construction concepts, simple machines and how gears work. Curriculum is designed to develop skills in science, simple technology, engineering and mathematics. Robotiks is Righteous!!!!
Lunch Bunch
A supervised time for any child attending either morning and afternoon classes or staying all day. Please send a healthy lunch with your child. Cost is $15 for the week
