Storybook Theatre August 16th at 11am presents “One Proud Penny” by Randy Siege. Welcome to the exciting, adventurous life of a penny! Children will follow this copper narrator from state to state and pocket to pocket. This story fits in perfectly with the museum’s Lincoln Penny Day celebration that was earlier this month and our ongoing “One Million Penny Challenge” project. #GreatBooksForChildren #EarlyLearning

Introduce your child to the wonder of reading and instill a love of books at an early age. Storybook Theatre combines your favorite childhood books with songs, rhymes and finger plays which are meant to promote early literacy and enhance language development. Free with price of admission. This reading with Miss Jan is included in the price of admission, which is $7 for adults and children 1 year and older. No reservation needed.
