Children’s Book Week 2022 Tues. Nov. 8 – Fri. Nov. 11
During this year’s Children’s Book Week we present 4 days of literary readings, guest appearances and book basket drawings.
Tuesday, November 8th at 11am-Get moving during a special Boogie Bash. Miss Jan and Waldo will lead Picture Book Boogie. This fun floor program allows children to express themselves through creative movement activities and songs based on classic children’s books, including the Where’s Waldo series. At noon join us on stage for Picture Book Bingo.
Wednesday, November 9, at 11:00am-Author and United Airlines pilot Eric Gaffney will read Airick Flies High followed by a meet-and-greet, where he will sell and sign his book until 12:15 p.m.
Thursday, November 10 at 11:00am-Enjoy a Special Storytime reading of Skippyjon Jones by Judy Schachner and meet-and-greets with Skippyjon Jones at 10:30 a.m., 11:30am & 12:30pm.
Discovery Toys 10:30am-2:00pm.
Friday, November 11 at 10:30am &11:30am-Learn about science with Janet’s Planet Science Presentations. Storybook Theatre at 11:00am presents “Sun! One in a Billion” by Stacy McAnulty.
